For the first five weeks during the summer of 2002 I had an internship at a British Satellite firm called Surrey Satellite Technology Lt, located at the University of Surrey in Guildford, England, a 30 minute train ride from London Waterloo station. On the weekends I was able to get up to London a couple times and one weekend made it out to the Welsh countryside.
